D MAGAZINE - JULY 1997
Angelo's Italian Grill. When you think of classic Italian favorites, what triggers your pavlovian response?

Lasagna? Spaghetti? Scampi?

Chicken Parmesan? Pizza?

This place has it all, and the experience starts in the parking lot as - you inhale the delicious aromas wafting through the air. At a recent all-out occasion, we partook of one weekend special that erased our craving for seafood: eight crab-stuffed shrimp atop a pile of angel hair pasta tossed with sauteed shrimp. We also shared Clams Marinara and a huge helping of Fettucini Alfredo. All meals come with a substantial caesar salad and out-of-the-oven garlic rolls with marinara sauce for dipping. The wine list is extensive, even by the glass. And check out the colorful murals of Italy.

  BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT FOR THE
ROMANTICALLY INCLINED

Dallas Observer - September 26, 1996
Going to this hole in the wall is Dallas' best imitation of stepping into Italy for the night. You can either sit in the front and look out the window or in the back and gaze at the beautiful murals, all while eating fine, authentic Italian food. The small size, quaint atmosphere and low lighting make for an ideal cozy getaway for two.
