Royal China, one of Dallas' original Chinese restaurants, has been serving Dallas exceptional Chinese cuisine for over 23 years. Still in its original location, Royal China was started in 1974 by Buck Kao. Buck, a retired diplomat from Taiwan, is a native of Hunan, China who knows the benefits of excellent service and quality food. This can be attested to by the large number of longtime, regular customers who frequent the restaurant. Royal China not only serves the finest in Chinese dishes, but does so in a relaxed, quiet and elegant dining atmosphere.

Renowned chef Kai-Chi, "The number one son", has specialized from the beginning in Hunan, Szechuan and Mandarin cuisines. In addition, he creates other Chinese specialties that are unsurpassed in Dallas restaurant circles. For a special treat, try the Buck-A-Roo Salad, General's Chicken or the Dry Stir Beef.

Kai-Chi's wife, B-Lan, designed the interior and created the beautiful floral and photographic displays you will enjoy as you dine.

Take the Dallas North Tollway to the Royal Lane exit and turn right (eastbound). Go two blocks to Preston Road and turn left (northbound) on Preston and then into the shopping center on your right. Royal China is in the northeast corner next to Roy's Nutrition Center.

Or, take Central Expressway to the Royal Lane exit and turn left (westbound). Go about two miles to Preston Road and turn right (northbound) on Preston and then into the shopping center on your right. Royal China is in the northeast corner next to Roy's Nutrition Center.

FROM NORTH DALLAS:

Take the Dallas North Tollway southbound to the Royal Lane exit. Take Royal eastbound two blocks to Preston Road. Turn left (north) on Preston and then right into the shopping center. Royal China is in the northeast corner next to Roy's Nutrition Center.

Or, take Central Expressway southbound to the Royal Lane exit. Take Royal westbound about 2 miles to Preston Road. Turn right (north) on Preston and then right into the shopping center. Royal China is in the northwest corner next to Roy's Nutrition Center.
